The Mississauga Central Lions Club raises its funds principally through the management of the Lions Farmers Markets the club has run in the downtown core of Mississauga since 1974, as well as other fundraising projects.
It is a Lions club principle that all monies collected from the public go back to the public. Funds for administrative needs are raised independently. In this manner, we maximize our contributions to the community. Our club holds an annual Cheque Night, wherein we distribute our contributions and all attendees learn about the many ways our contributions benefit our community both nearby and globally.
This year’s Cheque Night was held on Tuesday February 21, 2023, in the Auditorium of the Active Adult Centre, in the Central Parkway Mall, Mississauga. Meet and Greet at 6:30 PM. Directions can be found on our Contacts Page.

Funds donated are raised predominantly from the operation of our Lions Farmers Markets as well as Bingos the club runs at the Rama Gaming House – Mississauga.
