Each year our Lions Club brings together the beneficiaries of our funding to receive our financial support at this one event. Our Club raises our funds through running our “Lions Farmers Market“, by running Bingos and through our other fundraising efforts.

Centennial Celebration

Lions Clubs International Celebrated 100 years of Service to our Community in 2017. Our Centennial Celebration began with the raising of our Lions Centennial Flag at Mississauga City Hall on Wednesday June 7, 2017, exactly one hundred years from the formation meeting of Lions Clubs International. The first Lions Club in Mississauga was formed in 1937. Today there are six Lions Clubs that meet within Mississauga:

• Mississauga Central Lions Club
• Mississauga Cooksville Lions Club (a merger with Mississauga Credit Valley)
• Mississauga Erin Mills Lions Club
• Streetsville Lions Club
• Toronto Cervantes Lions Club
• Toronto Global Telugu
