Lions Clubs host a Lions Clubs Awareness Booth at the Carassauga Festival of Cultures

An often heard question we hear is What do Lions Do?

The City of Mississauga like Lions Clubs International is made up of people from around the world.  For the over 30 years The Carassauga Festival of Cultures has been held to recognize and celebrate the many cultures that make up our city.
Each year the Lions Clubs in the Greater Toronto-Hamilton area host a booth at Carassauga to share with the public what we do and to see if attendees share our interests in adressing the service projects we challenge.

You can see more information on our projects in the pages on this website listed on the left of this page.

As In past years we highlight our most impactful projects:
  • the Trillium Gift of Life - Beadonor program
  • Diabetes Awareness
  • Lions Clubs Recycle for Sight - Eyeglass Recycling Program
  • The Lions Foundation of Canada Dog Guides Program
  • Lions Clubs International Disaster Response
